DataQube has secured £22.1m in a Series A funding round led by RGREEN INVEST to commercialise its modular edge data centre technology. The capital will support the market entry of the firm's energy efficient infrastructure designed to lower power consumption and carbon emissions in the sector.

Based on a person-free layout, DataQube offers improved power usage effectiveness and a compact design that permits deployment in locations unsuited for traditional facilities. The investment marks RGREEN INVEST entry into the data centre market as the French firm expands its portfolio of green infrastructure projects.
