London-based startup that builds data preparation and query tools for artificial intelligence applications.

London startup Dataline has raised $1m in pre-seed funding to expand its team and scale its artificial intelligence platform. The round was led by Haatch, with participation from the British Business Bank and angel investors.

The company has developed MIRA AI, a tool that allows users to query company data using plain English rather than relying on technical engineering support. Its software is also used within the defence sector to streamline supply chain information management.

Following this capital injection, Dataline plans to grow its headcount, prepare for larger client deployments, and deepen its work with the Ministry of Defence.

From the founder

"We focus heavily on business context – how companies actually use their data, how they understand it, and what it means at an individual level. The better the context and the longer the living memory, the more accurate the insights we can provide. We build solutions that solve real-world problems across sectors, "
