Datactics provides user-friendly data quality and matching software that enables business users to self-serve for high-quality data. The company employs explainable machine learning to deliver predicted data matching and automated rule generation.

Belfast-based data quality software provider Datactics has secured £1.2m in seed funding led by Scottish investment firm Par Equity, with participation from Kernel Capital. The capital injection follows a period of rapid growth that has seen revenues triple over three years and new offices open in international markets.

The newly acquired funds will be directed towards further product development and international expansion. Datactics plans to build upon recent blue chip customer wins in finance and government by scaling its operations and enhancing its software suite.

From the founder

"Seldom does a day go by where the possibilities of machine learning aren’t being discussed. We’re as keenly aware as industry commentators that any successful use of this technology will rely on fast access to perfected data, something that has been our sweet spot since we were founded, and in which we’ve been investing continuously throughout my six years at the firm. We’re extremely pleased that Par Equity has come on board at this exciting time in our company’s history and look forward to working with them. Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to sharing more exciting news in the near future."
