Cybertonica develops artificial intelligence platforms that deliver authentication, risk analytics and fraud prevention for payments and financial technology firms. Its technology helps merchants reduce fraud losses while improving conversion rates and user trust.

Cybertonica has secured £2m in Series A funding to develop its risk analytics and fraud prevention technology. The round was led by London investor Force Over Mass Capital, with additional backing from TrueSight Ventures and Springboard.

The capital will be directed towards enhancing the ScreenWiZe behavioural analytics product and strengthening the Anomalytics platform. The firm also plans to expand its London headquarters and technical workforce by half over the coming months.

The transaction builds on previous funding that brings the company's total venture capital raised to £3.5m since inception.
