Curve has secured £9.9m in a crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube, completing the raise in 54 hours. Nearly 12,000 retail investors participated in the campaign, which follows previous backing from institutional investors including IDC Ventures, Fuel Venture Capital and Vulcan Capital.

The capital will support the company as it rolls out its platform in the US, expands across Europe and prepares to launch Curve Credit. To support this growth, the firm plans to add at least 200 employees during the year.
