CTEye has secured pre-seed funding from the Royal College of Art's Design & Innovation S/EIS Fund to advance its brain health monitoring technology for contact sports.
Founded by Georgios Koukoulis, the company builds smart mouthguards equipped with sensors to track impact force, direction, and frequency. This hardware pairs with a mobile application that delivers neurocognitive assessments and tracks recovery metrics for athletes, coaches, and clinicians.
The capital will be used to accelerate the development of the Byte device and its software platform as pilot programmes roll out with professional athletes.
