Crowdhaus raises £162.5k in pre-seed funding from SFC Capital to scale its property app
SFC Capital led the pre-seed round, which will fund app development and team expansion.
Crowdhaus operates a property discovery application that features swipe-based browsing and collaborative group searching for buyers and renters. The platform seeks to modernise how users find and discuss homes together.
Crowdhaus has secured £162.5k in pre-seed funding led by SFC Capital to accelerate the growth of its property discovery platform. The investment forms part of an oversubscribed round that has brought in more than £200k in total from SFC and angel investors.
The newly launched app uses a swipe-based interface and collaborative features to help groups of buyers and renters find and discuss properties. The fresh capital will be directed towards expanding the engineering team, developing the platform for Android alongside the existing iOS app, and forging industry partnerships.
Previous financial backing for the business has included support from the Geovation accelerator programme and an Innovate UK Smart Grant. The company intends to use this latest runway to scale its operations and build market presence.
