London-based Crowd Data Systems has secured £380k in pre-seed funding to advance its cloud-based treasury management platform. The round was led by RLC Ventures, with additional participation from Ascension Ventures and Force Over Mass Capital.
The fresh capital will be directed towards research and development, alongside sales and marketing initiatives as the company expands its modern application suite. The business was founded by treasury management veterans who previously built and exited City Financials.
The funding addresses a market dominated by older technology, with the company aiming to provide treasurers with streamlined administrative tools and improved analytical capabilities.
