Credit Kudos raises £2.2m in a Series A round led by Ascension Ventures to fuel European expansion and platform development.
The challenger credit bureau secured £2.2m from backers including Ascension Ventures and Entrepreneur First.
Credit Kudos operates a challenger credit bureau that leverages open banking data to modernise financial assessments. The firm enables lenders to evaluate creditworthiness more accurately and expand access to fair borrowing.
Credit Kudos has secured £2.2m in a Series A funding round led by Ascension Ventures through its Fair by Design fund. Additional backing came from existing investors NFT Ventures and Entrepreneur First, alongside new participants including Sarah Willingham, Charlie Songhurst, John McAndrew, and Graham Lund. The capital will be directed towards scaling operations in the domestic market, initiating expansion into continental Europe, and further developing the company's platform.
