CovertSwarm operates a red team-as-a-service and cyber-attack simulation platform that uses ethical hackers and proprietary software to test client infrastructure. The firm provides continuous security assessments through digital, physical, and social methods.
CovertSwarm has secured investment from Beech Tree Private Equity to support its organic expansion and accelerate the development of its Offensive Operations Center software. The funding follows the recent launch of the proprietary platform, which is designed to provide organisations with real-time visibility of their external attack surfaces. Beech Tree has backed the company as part of its strategy to support high-growth technology businesses in the security sector.
Founded in 2020, CovertSwarm employs a global network of ethical hackers to continuously test client defences through digital, physical, and social vectors. The company aims to challenge traditional penetration testing models by offering ongoing assurance rather than point-in-time assessments.
