Convergence raises £9m in pre-seed funding led by Balderton Capital to develop personal artificial intelligence assistants
Balderton Capital led the pre-seed round, which will fund the development of continual learning models for Proxy assistants.
Convergence builds personal artificial intelligence agents designed to handle administrative duties and improve workplace productivity. The startup leverages large meta learning models to enable continuous skill acquisition and long-term memory.
Convergence has secured £9m in pre-seed funding led by Balderton Capital, with participation from Salesforce Ventures and Shopify Ventures. The capital will support the development of novel models that power Proxy assistants, enabling continual learning and skill acquisition through memory.
Founded earlier this year, the London-based startup is releasing Proxy in beta to a limited audience. The technology uses large meta learning models to help users manage administrative workloads both in the workplace and in daily life.
