Congenica raises £13.3m in Series B funding led by Parkwalk Advisors
Parkwalk Advisors led the financing round, which brings Congenica to a total of £23.3m raised for its Series B.
Congenica develops genomic analysis software for interpreting complex data related to rare diseases and inherited cancer. The company serves a global customer base of hospitals, laboratories, and pharmaceutical companies across multiple continents.
Cambridge-based clinical decision support platform Congenica has raised £13.3m in a Series B extension led by Parkwalk Advisors, bringing its total round funding to £23.3m. The financing included participation from new strategic investor Digital China Health Technologies Corporation Limited alongside existing backers.
The capital will be used to accelerate commercial scale-up for international expansion into markets such as the US and China. Funds will also support product development, including machine learning integration and automation for cancer treatment and pharmacogenomics applications.
The raise follows Congenica securing a multi-year contract to serve as the exclusive provider of Diagnostic Decision Support Services for the NHS Genomic Medicine Service.
