Goldman Sachs Asset Management has backed ComplyAdvantage in an extension to its Series C funding round.
ComplyAdvantage operates a global data technology platform that transforms financial crime detection for regulated businesses. The firm supplies real time risk intelligence and screening tools to help enterprises manage compliance obligations.
ComplyAdvantage has secured a series C follow on investment from the Growth Equity team in Goldman Sachs Asset Management as an extension to its previous funding round. The undisclosed injection of capital will support the company as it scales operations and expands its footprint in the financial crime detection sector. Existing backers including the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan Board, Index Ventures and Balderton Capital also maintain their support for the business.
The firm has established a strong client base across international markets, serving high growth enterprises such as Gemini, Beem It and OakNorth Bank. Alongside the funding announcement, the company introduced ComplyLaunch, a programme offering startups free access to anti money laundering tools and educational resources.
