Foundation Capital led the investment round, which will fund team expansion and product updates.
Coincover provides digital asset protection technology designed to safeguard cryptocurrency holdings against theft, hacking, and human error. The company serves over 300 businesses by removing single points of failure in digital asset storage.
Cardiff-based digital asset protection firm Coincover has secured £24.7m in investment led by Foundation Capital. The capital injection will be deployed to drive recruitment, update products, and expand strategic partnerships to strengthen ecosystem safety.
Operating in a market where security concerns remain a primary barrier to mainstream adoption, the firm offers safeguards against both external attacks and internal operational mistakes. The business currently works with more than 300 entities, ranging from traditional financial institutions to digital asset exchanges.
Leadership noted that demand for protection has risen following a turbulent period across the wider cryptocurrency sector. The fresh funds will allow the company to scale its operations and extend its reach to more market participants seeking disaster recovery solutions.
