Cogs AI has secured a £415k grant from Innovate UK to support its work on digital assessment tools for special educational needs and disabilities. The funding will aid the development of a 15-minute online test designed in collaboration with the University of Cambridge.

Current diagnostic pathways for special educational needs face significant backlogs and resource constraints. Cogs AI applies computerised adaptive testing technology via a digital interface to evaluate children across four key domains, aiming to reduce waiting times for families and schools.
