Cogna raises £11.6m in Series A funding led by Notion Capital to scale its custom software platform.

Notion Capital led the Series A round to support Cogna in scaling its AI-powered software development platform across traditional industries.
Cogna provides precision software solutions using AI-powered development to help traditional enterprises overcome complex operational inefficiencies. The company builds custom software for industries often underserved by standard off-the-shelf technology.
Cogna has secured £11.6m in a Series A funding round led by Notion Capital, with additional participation from Hoxton Ventures and Chalfen Ventures. The company intends to direct the capital towards scaling its custom software platform and expanding its automated AI-driven capabilities for traditional sectors. The raise comes as Cogna experiences rapid growth in customer acquisition and team size since its inception 18 months ago.
The London-based business operates a service-as-a-software model designed to automate IT consultancy and generate tailored solutions for industries such as utilities, energy, and manufacturing. Backers point to the firm's precision approach as a key driver of productivity in markets historically overlooked by digital transformation.
