Code First Girls has secured £4.5m in Series A funding led by Active Partners, alongside backing from prominent female angel investors. The capital will be deployed to accelerate the company growth, close the gender gap in technology, and provide one million learning and employment opportunities for women over the next five years. The enterprise has transitioned from a social enterprise into a commercial business, scaling its revenue and user base significantly.
