Codat secures strategic Series A follow on investment from PayPal Ventures and American Express Ventures to launch US operations

Codat has secured strategic Series A follow on investment from PayPal Ventures and American Express Ventures, alongside existing backer Index Ventures. The fresh capital arrives as the business data API platform formally launches its operations in the United States. The company intends to use the funding to accelerate its growth and expand its footprint.
Founded in 2017, Codat builds data connectivity infrastructure for the small and medium enterprise ecosystem. Its technology links disparate financial tools and services, enabling a seamless exchange of operational data for lenders, insurers, and fintech providers.
