CMap secures investment from ECI Partners to support international expansion and product development.
ECI Partners has acquired a stake in the professional services automation software provider, providing a full exit for NorthEdge.
CMap provides professional services automation software tailored for the architectural, engineering, construction, and consulting sectors. The platform helps firms streamline operations, boost project profitability, and manage staff utilisation.
Manchester-based professional services automation software provider CMap has secured investment from ECI Partners, providing an exit for backer NorthEdge. The transaction follows five years of rapid growth supported by NorthEdge since its initial 2019 backing.
ECI Partners will back the company as it expands its international footprint, deepens its penetration in core markets, and accelerates product development. The fresh capital will also be directed towards team expansion and bolstering the broader corporate infrastructure.
Investor perspective
"We have tracked CMap for a long time and have been hugely impressed by the team, product and market opportunity that the business faces into. The company is well-placed to continue its rapid growth trajectory in the AEC and consulting sectors, both in the UK and globally. We’re ambitious about the future together and are looking forward to working with Dave and the wider team to deliver on that opportunity."
