Clyde Biosciences secures £2m Series A funding led by Epidarex Capital
Epidarex Capital led the Series A round for the drug toxicity testing specialist.
Clyde Biosciences is a life sciences company originating from the University of Glasgow that evaluates drug toxicity for pharmaceutical developers.
Clyde Biosciences has secured £2m in a Series A funding round led by Epidarex Capital. The financing also saw participation from the Scottish Investment Bank and Glasgow University Holdings.
The capital will be used to expand the team, strengthen commercial operations, and scale international reach. Clyde Biosciences builds assay technology designed to test cardiotoxicity risks in pharmaceuticals using stem cells and proprietary software.
