Climate X raises £14.2m in Series A funding led by GV to fuel international expansion.
GV led the Series A round for the climate risk platform, which will use the capital to scale its presence in North America and Europe.
Climate X provides a data analytics platform that projects and prices physical climate risks for buildings and infrastructure. The company helps financial institutions and asset managers protect portfolios and adapt investment strategies.
Climate X has secured £14.2m in Series A funding to accelerate its expansion across Europe, North America, and the Asia Pacific region. GV led the round, with participation from Pale blue dot, CommerzVentures, A/O, Blue Wire Capital, PT1, Unconventional Ventures, and Western Technology Investment. The capital will be deployed to scale the commercial team at the company new New York office and to enhance its platform with additional data sources. This follows rapid growth for the platform, which serves major financial institutions and asset managers navigating increasing climate disclosure regulations.
