The retail analytics firm has raised new capital from Angel Academe and private investors to scale its operations.

Clear Returns provides a retail analytics platform that uses predictive data to help merchants reduce product returns. The company counts major retailers such as Argos and Gilt Groupe among its customers.
Clear Returns has secured a new round of funding led by Angel Academe, with participation from Mark and Meganne Houghton-Berry. The retail analytics company will direct the capital towards expanding its sales operations across Europe and preparing for a US market entry in 2016.
Founded by Vicky Brock, the company uses big data and predictive analytics to help retailers tackle the rising cost of product returns. The latest investment follows commercial traction with major brands including Argos, The Jewellery Channel, and M&Co.
Angel Academe previously backed the company in April 2013. The syndicate continues to support early stage businesses while championing greater female participation in angel investment.
