Chatterbox Languages secures £1.5m in pre-seed funding led by Guardian Media Group Ventures to expand its diversity offerings.

Chatterbox Languages operates a refugee powered online language learning platform that connects corporations with skilled professionals from marginalised talent pools. The remote first firm counts major enterprises amongst its client roster.
Chatterbox Languages has secured £1.5m in pre-seed funding led by Guardian Media Group Ventures, with participation from Phil Libin's All Turtles alongside other backers. The capital will enable the London based startup to expand its diversity as a service offerings and hire across product development, learning, sales and marketing.
The business emerged from the Founders Factory accelerator programme and previously established a client base that includes Unilever, PwC and the British Red Cross. This latest injection of capital aims to support the firm in connecting underemployed professionals from refugee and marginalised backgrounds with opportunities in the digital economy.
