CharterSync raises over £700k from Oxford Innovation Finance to scale its digital air cargo platform.
The funding round was led by Oxford Innovation Finance to support artificial intelligence developments and platform enhancements.
CharterSync operates a digital air cargo charter platform that automates and optimises booking workflows for freight forwarders and logistics operators.
CharterSync has secured over £700k in funding from Oxford Innovation Finance, through the Oxford Innovation EIS Growth Fund and OION angel investors, to accelerate its growth. The company provides a digital platform for air cargo chartering that replaces traditional manual brokering with algorithmic matching and dynamic pricing.
The fresh capital will be directed towards product enhancements, specifically focusing on artificial intelligence developments, predictive pricing, demand forecasting, and intelligent routing modules. This investment aims to help the company meet increasing demands from e-commerce growth and supply chain volatility.
Oxford Innovation Finance backed the round to support the modernisation of legacy logistics industries. The funding follows ongoing industry pressure for faster decision-making and operational resilience among freight forwarders.

Investor perspective
"The air cargo charter market has long been underserved by digital innovation. CharterSync’s platform brings speed, data intelligence and automation to a traditionally slow, opaque, relationship-based industry. We are proud to support Ed and the CharterSync team as they scale globally, build advanced AI systems and deliver lasting change across logistics and supply chains."
