ChargedUp secures £2m in pre-series A funding led by M-Venture and JamJar Investments to drive European expansion
The funding will support growth across the UK and expansion into Germany and wider European markets.
ChargedUp operates a network of mobile power bank rental stations powered by green energy. The service allows users to rent portable chargers by scanning a QR code via a mobile application.
ChargedUp has secured £2m in pre-series A funding to accelerate its expansion across Europe and the UK. The round was led by M-Venture and JamJar Investments, with additional backing from Creative Investment Club.
The capital will be deployed to scale the venue network, broaden the product range, and improve the overall user experience. ChargedUp partners with Octopus Energy to ensure all electricity used across the network is matched with renewable sources.
The company was established in April 2017 to provide accessible mobile charging solutions in social and late night venues.
