Charco Neurotech has secured £500k in a seed financing round led by Parkwalk Advisors through the Imperial College Innovation Fund. Additional participants in the syndicate include Amadeus Capital Partners, Crista Galli, RCA, and Oxbridge Angels.
The capital will support the company as it prepares to launch its CUE1 device in the UK and European markets. The non-invasive wearable technology uses controlled vibrations and companion digital tools to assist with motor tasks and symptom tracking for Parkinson patients.
The investment marks the inaugural deployment from the Imperial College Innovation Fund, highlighting the role of university spinout initiatives in supporting early-stage medical technology ventures originating from academic research ecosystems.
