char.gy secures £100m from Zouk Capital to expand its public electric vehicle charging network.
Zouk Capital increased its backing to accelerate the rollout of on-street chargers across the UK.
London-based char.gy provides and operates on-street electric vehicle charging infrastructure for UK households without off-street parking.
London-based electric vehicle charging operator char.gy has secured an increased commitment of £100m in funding from Zouk Capital. The injection will be channelled into expanding the company network from over 3,000 charge points to 100,000 by 2030.
The capital will support the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Fund and accelerate on-street charger deployment over the next five years. The expansion aims to serve households lacking off-street parking, supporting the broader transition to sustainable transport across the UK.
