Champion Health provides a digital platform that helps businesses optimise employee wellbeing through health assessments and mental health training. The company has experienced surging demand as remote working increases the need for online mental health support.
Champion Health has secured pre-seed investment from TwinklHive to accelerate its growth plans. The funding will allow the digital wellbeing platform to expand its existing software and develop a dedicated mobile application.
The investment follows a period of rapid expansion for the company, which has seen registrations surge as organisations navigate remote working during the coronavirus pandemic. TwinklHive, an accelerator launched by educational publisher Twinkl, has supported the platform as a resident since March before backing the round.

There has definitely been a shift in attitude towards workplace health in the past 3 months and we can only see the need becoming greater. Businesses have been coming to us specifically seeking online tools and advice to support their employees as they work remotely. Due to home working, many employers are finding it difficult to spot the warning signs of their team members struggling and may not be equipped with how they can support them."
