Manchester-based CGHero has raised £4m in a Series A funding round led by Beringea. The platform enables media producers, brands, and studios to collaborate with specialist 3D, CGI, VFX, and AR/VR talent. The capital will be deployed to expand the Manchester team, scale platform capabilities, and prepare for operations in the United States later this year.

Investor perspective

"CGHero sits at the intersection of two fundamental trends shaping the global economy: the rise of the metaverse and the future of work. As we see the widespread adoption of AR and VR, demand for 3D content – and the specialist talent required to develop it – will increase dramatically."
