Centauri Therapeutics secures £1m grant from PACE to advance antimicrobial immunotherapies.

Centauri Therapeutics has secured £1m from PACE to develop its Alphamer technology targeting drug-resistant bacterial strains.

£1.0MGrant

A British biotechnology firm developing immunotherapies to combat drug-resistant bacterial infections using its proprietary Alphamer platform.

Centauri Therapeutics has secured a £1m grant from PACE to advance its antimicrobial immunotherapy programmes. The funding will support the continued development of the company's Alphamer technology, which targets drug-resistant bacterial strains. PACE selected the project during its initial funding round to help de-risk and accelerate early-stage drug discovery.

The investment will drive further research across multiple therapeutic indications. Centauri's approach leverages the body's natural antibody repertoire to redirect immunity towards pathogenic cells, offering a precision medicine alternative for vulnerable patients.
