Celsius Network secures £14.5m Series A follow-on funding via BnkToTheFuture
Celsius Network has closed an equity raise via BnkToTheFuture with backing from its community and other participants.
Celsius Network is a blockchain-based platform offering interest-bearing accounts and low-cost loans to consumers worldwide. The company operates on a membership model designed to put depositor interests first.
Celsius Network has secured £14.5m in a Series A follow-on equity round hosted by BnkToTheFuture. The financing offered qualified retail and institutional participants worldwide the chance to take a stake in the platform.
The raise follows a previous $10m investment from Tether and pushes total intake past $18.8m. Leadership noted strong participation from the wider user base as part of an effort to align corporate growth with community interests.
