Care Sourcer secures a £1.5m grant from Scottish Enterprise to create new jobs

Scottish Enterprise has awarded the funding to support regional growth and job creation at the healthtech firm.

Care Sourcer operates an online comparison and matching site designed to address social care challenges. The healthtech firm is based in Edinburgh.

Edinburgh-based Care Sourcer has secured a £1.5m regional selective assistance grant from Scottish Enterprise to fund expansion and job creation. The capital will enable the healthtech platform to increase its headcount past one hundred employees while developing technology aimed at the UK care crisis. Care Sourcer previously raised an £8.5m Series A round in 2018 and collaborates with multiple NHS trusts across the country.

The funding targets the creation of over seventy high-value roles as the firm scales its operations. Scottish Enterprise highlighted the regional economic impact of the award, while company leadership noted the advantage of accessing local scaling expertise within the Scottish technology sector.
