Cambridge Aerospace is a British defence startup that builds cost-effective interceptor drones to counter aerial threats and cruise missiles.

Cambridge Aerospace is in discussions to secure $300m in new funding at a valuation of $3.5bn, with DFJ Growth positioned to lead the transaction. The capital would support the British defence startup as it scales production of its low-cost interceptor drones following initial procurement deals with the UK government. The potential agreement follows a period of rapid expansion for the company, which was founded in late 2024 and recently secured an agreement to supply hundreds of its Skyhammer systems. The round would build upon $136m in prior funding raised from backers including Spark Capital, Lakestar, Lux Capital, Accel, and the D3 defence fund.
