Cambridge Aerospace has raised $300m in a Series C round led by DFJ Growth, valuing the company at $3.4bn. The fresh capital will allow the firm to scale manufacturing and accelerate delivery to Allied nations as demand for cost-effective air defence grows.
The raise follows a $200m Series B earlier in the year and brings total funding to roughly $636m. Founded in 2024, the company produces low-cost interceptor missiles such as Skyhammer to counter inexpensive attack drones like the Shahed, addressing a growing cost imbalance in modern warfare budgets.
Returning backers include Lux, Accel, Lakestar, Never Lift and Ora Global. The company has grown to over 250 employees and supplies the UK Ministry of Defence, with further products like Starhammer and Nightstar currently in development.
