Calibre builds bespoke artificial intelligence infrastructure and software for the testing, inspection, and certification industry. Its technology automates complex documentation review and report writing processes for enterprise auditors.

Calibre has raised £2.5m in pre-seed funding to expand its artificial intelligence infrastructure operations for the testing, inspection, and certification sector. The investment round was co-led by Vicus Ventures and CIV, with additional participation from I2BF, 9 Yards Capital, Jigeum, and angel investors such as Nikesh Arora.

The capital will be deployed to scale existing enterprise contracts with publicly listed certification bodies and accreditation organisations. Calibre recently introduced AuditorOS, an automated platform designed to handle document review and report generation for independent auditors ahead of its public launch in June.

The London-based startup was established by university alumni who previously worked deploying enterprise intelligence systems at Palantir. The business addresses chronic delays in global commerce caused by manual auditing backlogs and a shrinking workforce of technical experts.
