Caeli Nova has secured £6.5m in Series A funding to advance its aircraft emergency oxygen system and bring initial products to market. The round was led by Swiss digital health firm Ornament Health, with additional participation from aerospace manufacturer Latécoere and venture builder LG Capital.
The capital will support the integration of the company's launch product, Cordillera, onto passenger aircraft during 2022. The system is designed to reduce costs and carbon emissions for airlines by permitting direct flight routes, while also opening potential applications in clinical and hospital settings.
