Construction technology platform NBS has joined the Byggfakta Group in an acquisition deal backed by private equity firms Stirling Square Capital Partners and TA Associates. The transaction marks Byggfakta Group's initial expansion into the UK market and follows recent European acquisitions in Portugal and Switzerland.

NBS has transitioned its offerings into cloud-based software solutions, namely NBS Chorus and NBS Source, while growing its international presence. The partnership with Byggfakta aims to accelerate product development and support broader international expansion.

Executive Chairman Colin Smith noted that the construction sector has seen an acceleration in technology adoption. The deal provides substantial financial backing to help scale operations and introduce products to new markets.
