Brigad has secured £29m in a Series B funding round led by Balderton Capital. The round included participation from Wendel Group, Serena Capital, and Square Capital, bringing the company total fundraising to over £50m. The capital will be deployed to expand the reach of the platform into new UK cities and help alleviate severe staff shortages in the hospitality sector. Brigad currently operates in eight major European cities, matching verified hospitality workers with venues needing flexible cover.
