Brandwatch provides a social media analytics and listening platform used by brands and enterprises worldwide.

Brandwatch has secured $22m in a funding round led by Highland Capital Partners Europe, with participation from Nauta Capital and existing backers. The company will direct the capital toward doubling its product and engineering teams, expanding its physical infrastructure, and accelerating the integration of new data sources, particularly across emerging social networks in Asia.

The social media analytics provider has experienced consecutive years of rapid growth and international expansion, with its platform now utilised by over 1,000 brands, including numerous Fortune 100 corporations. The fresh capital supports the firm as it extends its software capabilities beyond traditional marketing intelligence into customer service, product research, and reputation management.

From the founder

"This was another important moment in the evolution of the company. As with previous deals, Tony Littner and his team at Harbottle guided us through the process with very few undesired bumps along the way. They had our backs throughout and were an important part of our team."
