Bluestone Resorts secures a syndicated sustainability-linked facility from Barclays and the Development Bank of Wales

The financing will support ongoing resort development and the construction of a new solar farm.

Bluestone Resorts operates a large holiday resort in Pembrokeshire with a strong focus on sustainable tourism practices.

Barclays and the Development Bank of Wales have provided a syndicated loan facility to Bluestone Resorts. The funding will allow the holiday resort operator to continue its sustainable investment programme, which includes expanding the resort and constructing a new solar farm.

The financing incorporates specific sustainability KPIs monitored by Barclays as Sustainability Coordinator. These targets cover biodiversity improvements, emissions reductions, and maintaining eco-accreditation standards.
