Bloom builds a unified social and actionable platform designed for cryptocurrency traders. The application combines social discovery, analytics, and exchange capabilities into a single interface.

Bloom has secured £300m in a Series A funding round to advance its revenue-based lending platform for digital merchants. The investment was led jointly by Credo Capital Partners and funds managed by Fortress Investment Group.

Headquartered in Luxembourg and led by James Hickson, the company aims to scale its presence as a capital provider for digital entrepreneurs. The newly acquired funds will support the expansion of its operations across Europe and the United States.

The business differentiates itself from traditional models by offering a pricing structure where customers are charged exclusively for the capital they use, avoiding the excess fees typical of earlier funding generations.

Investor perspective

"Demand for eCommerce lending has expanded in Europe. We wanted to make an investment in a platform that was moving the product forward and combined all of the great technology and analytics you expect with a really differentiated product and approach,"
