A UK-based fintech startup digitising traditional savings circles for immigrant communities across Europe.
Bloom Money has secured $2m in early-stage funding to transform financial services for immigrant communities across Europe. The fintech startup, led by founder Nina Mohanty, raised the capital to enhance its core product and expand into new financial verticals.
Following the capital injection, the company is launching a community crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube to allow users and supporters to take direct equity stakes. The platform focuses on digitising traditional rotating savings and credit associations, addressing gaps left by institutional venture capital.
From the founder
"While our earlier rounds were critical, this crowdfunding campaign goes beyond just raising capital – it’s about ownership. We’re empowering the very people we serve to become part of the solution."
