Blockchain.com has secured new financing in a funding round led by Lightspeed Ventures and Baillie Gifford, pushing its valuation to $14bn. The London-based digital asset platform has attracted backing from global venture capital firms as crypto enterprise valuations continue to climb.
Founded in 2011, the company previously completed a $300m funding round in March 2021 at a $5.2bn valuation. The platform reports having amassed 37 million verified users alongside 82 million created wallets since its inception.
