The £50m equity financing from Nimbus Capital will support technology enhancements and global expansion ahead of a planned public listing.
BLK operates an online commodities and raw materials trading platform connecting buyers and sellers directly. The business facilitates peer-to-peer raw material procurement without traditional intermediaries.
Glasgow-based online commodities platform BLK has secured £50m in an equity funding round led by Nimbus Capital. The capital injection will support international scaling, maritime asset acquisitions, and technology enhancements including artificial intelligence and blockchain integration. This financing also positions the company for a planned public offering later in the year following a period of strong revenue growth.
