BKN301 raises €32m in Series B and credit facility financing to expand financial infrastructure technology.
The financing package includes a Series B round and credit backing from BlackRock-managed funds.
BKN301 provides cloud-native financial architecture and infrastructure to help institutions modernise legacy banking systems without disruption.
BKN301 has secured €32m in a funding package combining a €21m Series B round and a credit facility backed by funds and accounts managed by BlackRock. The capital will support the company as it looks to expand its real-time analytics and intelligent decision-making capabilities.
Alongside the financing, the company has completed the acquisition of UK-based financial analytics firm Planky to bolster its open banking and data intelligence offerings. BKN301 plans to use its new resources to drive an 18-month expansion strategy, focusing on regional financial institutions and potential further mergers and acquisitions.
Founded in 2021, the firm operates globally with a particular focus on emerging markets across Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe, delivering modular upgrades for legacy financial systems.
