Bio-Images Drug Delivery secures £2m from Archangels and the Scottish Investment Bank to scale its operations.

The funding will enable Bio-Images Drug Delivery to expand its manufacturing capacity and grow its team across two sites.

Bio-Images Drug Delivery develops precision timed drug delivery technology for the pharmaceutical sector. Operating from Glasgow and Newhouse, the firm works with global partners to improve patient outcomes.

Bio-Images Drug Delivery has secured £2m in a funding round backed by Archangels and the Scottish Investment Bank. The capital will enable the firm to purchase large scale manufacturing equipment and scale its operations across its Scottish sites.

The company will use the investment to expand its team and acquire processing infrastructure for its OralogiK technology. The timed release system has been validated through human clinical studies and is designed to support pharmaceutical clients with targeted drug administration.
