BindEthics creates non-toxic, bio-based industrial adhesives derived from food and beverage brewing waste.
BindEthics has secured £413k in total funding through angel investments facilitated by Lifted Ventures and an Innovate UK grant. The capital will support the company as it enters a new phase of product testing and commercialisation for its sustainable adhesives.
The non-toxic adhesive formula is designed for engineered wood products, offering a recyclable alternative that reduces the environmental footprint of traditional adhesives by 85 percent. Lifted Ventures helped guide the firm through two funding rounds and grant access.
Chief executive Victoria Garcia noted that the financing will accelerate the adoption of eco-friendly materials across construction. Lifted Ventures co-founder Helen Oldham highlighted the local partnership and the grant positioning the business for growth.
