Beep has secured £250k in a funding round, which includes £60k backed by Anglia Capital Group alongside partners at New Anglia Capital. The Norwich-based enterprise has built a smartphone application that replaces physical student identity cards for campus access.
The capital will support the ongoing deployment of the company technology, which allows students to navigate university grounds using mobile security credentials. Initial trials have taken place at the University of East Anglia, with further expansion planned across the higher education sector.
