Barclays joins an existing roster of major banking backers that includes BNP Paribas, Citi, Danske Bank and Standard Chartered.
United Fintech provides a neutral technology ecosystem and infrastructure for financial institutions, asset managers and wealth managers. The company scales proven fintech innovations and integrates multiple technology solutions through a single access point.
United Fintech has secured a strategic investment from Barclays, making the lender the fifth global bank to back the company. Barclays joins an existing shareholder base that includes BNP Paribas, Citi, Danske Bank and Standard Chartered.
The capital arrives as United Fintech continues to expand its operations. During 2025, the company completed two acquisitions to bring its portfolio to seven fintechs, supported by a workforce of more than 200 employees across 11 global offices.
Alongside the investment, Barclays takes a seat on the board of directors, deepening the commercial ties between traditional financial institutions and the scaling platform.
