Axial3D develops artificial intelligence-powered software that automates the production of patient-specific anatomic models from medical scans. The technology enables hospitals and medical device manufacturers to integrate 3D printing into routine clinical workflows.

Axial3D has secured £12.6m in investment, led by Stratasys. The funding will support efforts to expand patient-specific 3D printing solutions for hospitals and medical device manufacturers. Alongside the investment, the two companies are launching a joint offering aimed at bringing medical 3D printing into mainstream healthcare.
